Junior Consultant – Corporate Communications & Investor Relations

About the Opportunity TCB Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with our client, a leading corporate communications and investor relations consultancy based in Subiaco, to appoint a Junior Consultant to their growing team.

Our client is well regarded across the ASX-listed space for their collaborative, hands-on approach, working closely with executive teams to deliver high-quality market communications, investor engagement and strategic advice. This role represents an outstanding entry point into the world of corporate communications and investor relations, with direct exposure to ASX-listed environments and experienced senior consultants who are genuinely invested in your development.

The Role The Junior Consultant will support the delivery of corporate communications and investor relations services to our client’s ASX-listed clients, with a particular focus on the mining sector. Working closely with senior consultants, you will assist in the preparation, coordination and execution of market communications, including ASX announcements, investor materials and stakeholder communications.

This is a development-focused role ideally suited to a graduate or early-career professional with strong written communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a genuine interest in financial markets, listed companies and strategic communications.

Key Responsibilities ASX Announcements & Market Communications

• Assist in the planning, drafting, formatting and lodgment of ASX announcements under the guidance of senior consultants
• Support announcement timelines, approval workflows and coordination with clients and external stakeholders
• Proofread and quality-check announcements to ensure accuracy, clarity and compliance with ASX requirements
• Maintain announcement registers, lodgment records and supporting documentation

Corporate Communications Support

• Assist in drafting corporate communications including investor presentations, fact sheets, media releases and website content
• Support the preparation of quarterly reporting materials, AGM communications and investor updates
• Conduct background research on listed companies, sectors and market activity
• Help maintain brand consistency across all client communications

Investor Relations & Client Support

• Provide day-to-day support to senior consultants across multiple client accounts
• Assist with investor relations calendars, meeting schedules and reporting deadlines
• Prepare briefing notes, call summaries and internal documentation
• Support coordination with analysts, investors and media as required

Administration & Quality Control

• Maintain internal systems, templates and document management processes
• Ensure high standards of accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism across all work
• Support continuous improvement of processes and workflows

About You To be considered for this role, you will bring:
Essential

• Tertiary qualification (or near completion) in communications, journalism, public relations, finance, commerce or a related discipline
• Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
• High level of organisation and ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
• Professional curiosity and a genuine interest in ASX-listed companies and financial markets
• Confidence working with confidential and market-sensitive information

Desirable

• Exposure to corporate communications, investor relations, media or financial services
• Understanding of ASX disclosure obligations, or a willingness to develop this knowledge quickly
• Strong Microsoft Office skills across Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience in an agency or professional services environment
