Our client delivers fencing solutions across civil infrastructure, land development, government and commercial projects throughout Perth and surrounding areas. This is not an office-bound project manager role. It's a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys supporting people, solving problems and taking ownership of outcomes.
The Opportunity
Reporting to Senior Leadership, you will oversee multiple commercial fencing projects and lead several field crews across Perth. You'll spend much of your time visiting sites, supporting Team Leaders, meeting with clients and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.
A dedicated Estimating team manages quotations, allowing you to focus on leading people and delivering successful projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple commercial fencing crews across active projects
- Coach, mentor and develop Team Leaders
- Coordinate labour, materials, plant and subcontractors
- Conduct regular site visits and provide leadership to field teams
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Identify and resolve issues before they impact delivery
- Monitor project performance, productivity and profitability
- Recruit, develop and retain high-performing team members
- Drive continuous improvement across the business

- Proven experience as a Project Manager, Site Supervisor or similar leadership role
- Background in civil construction, commercial construction, earthworks, landscaping or structural trades
- Commercial fencing experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Experience with machine-based site work or excavators is highly regarded
- Trade background in carpentry, civil construction or related fields highly desirable
- Current Driver's Licence essential
- HC/MC Licence and additional tickets are advantageous
