Our client is a leading pipeline construction and maintenance company servicing Western Australia's resources, water, and infrastructure sectors wo are seeking a skilled Tender Writer/Estimator to join them for a 3 -4 week period.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Tender Writer/Estimator who thrives on winning work and building lasting client relationships. Starting ASAP, this short term opportunity will see you assist our clients’ tender submissions, combining technical expertise with compelling narrative to showcase our client as contractor of choice.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, coordinate comprehensive tender submissions from initial EOI through to final proposal

Develop accurate cost estimates for pipeline construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation projects

Analyse project specifications, drawings, and site conditions to identify risks and opportunities

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all technical, commercial and quality aspects of bids are addressed to develop winning strategies

Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
-
Manage tender timelines and coordinate input from multiple stakeholders
-
Conduct post-tender reviews and maintain tender documentation and pricing databases

Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with company capabilities
What You'll Bring
-
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in tendering/estimating within pipeline, civil, or heavy construction industries

Proven track record of winning tenders with a high dollar value

Strong understanding of pipeline construction methodologies, materials, and Australian Standards
-
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling, compliant responses

Advanced Excel skills and experience with estimating software (CCS Candy, Expert Estimation, or similar)
-
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports
-
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (desirable)
