What you’ll be doing
- Leading and supervising on-site installation teams to ensure high-quality workmanship and efficient project delivery
- Installation of Velux skylights and associated products according to manufacturer specifications
- Coordinating daily site activities, materials, and workflow
- Providing guidance, support, and mentoring to installers
- Liaising with customers to ensure requirements are met and expectations exceeded
- Maintaining strong communication with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining a safe work environment
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs on existing Velux skylight installations as required
- Upholding the company’s strong reputation through quality work and professionalism
What we’re looking for
- Formal carpentry qualification and solid practical experience
- Previous experience in a Leading Hand or Supervisory role (or strong readiness to step up)
- Strong knowledge of Velux skylight products and installation requirements
- Proven ability to lead small teams on-site while remaining hands-on
- Reliable, trustworthy, and diligent with a strong commitment to long-term employment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s licence
