About the Role

As a Pipe Layer / Drainer , you will play a key role in delivering essential water infrastructure projects across residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

This is a full-time, permanent position , offering ongoing work across pipeline installations, maintenance, and repairs, working on live assets and complex excavation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install pipework, culverts, stormwater systems, and associated infrastructure to specification

• Inspect, test, maintain, and repair pipelines and related systems

• Locate underground services and safely manage excavation works

• Operate tools and machinery, including pipe lasers and plant equipment

• Prepare and set up sites, including trenching and groundwork

• Ensure compliance with Water Corporation standards , regulations, and environmental guidelines

• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and promote best practices on-site

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in pipe laying, drainage, or civil plumbing

• Relevant pipe laying / drainer accreditation

• White Card and valid driver’s licence

• Tickets such as plant operation, quick cut, confined space, or working at heights (highly regarded)

• Solid understanding of civil construction practices and water infrastructure standards
