Sales Representative – External B2B Sales
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team and help expand our client base.
This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of four years’ experience in external B2B sales who enjoys building relationships, meeting clients face-to-face, and identifying new business opportunities.
As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving company growth by developing new client relationships while maintaining strong connections with existing customers. This is a hands-on external sales role where success comes from proactive prospecting, networking, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
•
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and industry engagement
•
Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to introduce products and services
•
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients
•
Convert leads to long-term customers through effective relationship building and consultative selling
•
Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and trade events to build brand awareness
Client Relationship Management
•
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
•
Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions
•
Conduct regular client visits to maintain engagement and identify further opportunities
•
Delivery of a high level of customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business
Sales Activity & Territory Management
•
Manage a structured sales territory and weekly external meeting schedule
•
Maintain accurate records of client activity and opportunities within the CRM system
•
Prepare quotes, proposals, and follow up on opportunities to secure sales
•
Consistently work toward achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
Internal Collaboration
•
Work closely with internal teams including operations and customer service to ensure smooth delivery for clients
•
Communicate customer feedback and market insights to help improve products and services
•
Participate in team meetings and sales planning discussions
Skills, Experience & Attributes
Essential
•
Minimum 4 years external B2B sales experience
•
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
•
Strong ability to build relationships and develop new business opportunities
•
Highly motivated with strong self-management and time management skills
•
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
•
Confident presenting to clients and managing face-to-face meetings
•
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings
Desirable
•
Experience selling products or services into the mining, industrial or corporate industries
•
Experience managing sales pipelines and CRM systems
•
Background in industries such as workwear, uniforms, industrial products, or B2B supply
