TCB Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established engineering and industrial services company

About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth and create a robust pipeline of opportunities. This is a senior-level position reporting directly to the Managing Director, offering the chance to make a significant impact on the company's growth trajectory.

Permanent Full-Time
Office-based with flexibility for client meetings and site visits

The Role
As Business Development Manager, you'll be instrumental in creating and maintaining a viable revenue stream that supports the company's strategic objectives. You'll work closely with the leadership team to identify opportunities, build key relationships, and position the business for sustained growth in the industrial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Growth - Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities while monitoring revenue targets and representing the company at industry event
  • Market Intelligence - Track industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities while contributing strategic insights to business plans
  • Build Relationships - Connect with key decision-makers within the mining, construction and infrastructure space, nurture client relationships, and maintain regular communication about future opportunities
  • Manage Tenders - Identify RFT opportunities, coordinate compelling submissions with internal teams, and ensure compliance throughout the process
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years in business development within industrial supply, services, or construction
  • Established industry network and proven track record of winning business
  • ​​​​​​​ Strong strategic thinking and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing tenders and proposals

  • Flexibility required for after-hours events and travel

Pipeline value, revenue secured, qualified inquiries generated, and market presence growth
