Our client is seeking an experienced ER/IR Manager to report to the Executive General Manager. This role is crucial in leading the HR Operations team, driving HR strategy, and delivering comprehensive HR services to support business goals on a 6-12-month fixed term contract.
**Key Responsibilities: **
- Lead HR Operations, including Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, and HR Business Partnering.
- Convert HR strategies into tangible business value.
- Develop and implement innovative HR strategies to foster a culture of growth and inclusivity.
- Mentor and train a high-performing HR/ER team.
- Bridge HR and on-site needs, addressing unique challenges.
- Provide HR support for business tenders and analyse HR data trends.
- Utilise ER/IR expertise to maintain strong employee relations and resolve conflicts.
- Guide leaders in implementing fair performance management practices.
- Conduct complex case management and workplace investigations.
- Drive organisational change management initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
- Participate in HSEQ programs and report any hazards or incidents.
- Oversee Right of Entry (ROE) processes.
- Develop and grow a high-performing team.
- Conduct timely workplace investigations and resolve disagreements.
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
- Contribute to business improvement ideas and manage potential risks.
- Manage operational costs and produce accurate financial reports.
- Consider the commercial impact of HR initiatives.
- Essential: Degree in Human Resource Management and Employment Relations.
- Desirable: Masters in related fields.
- Experience in a site-based FIFO role and strong HR/ER/IR background.
- Knowledge of applicable legislation and best HR practices.
